Those who know me from YouTube have probably already seen the video collaboration I did with Nalts. There is a blooper reel coming in a couple days. Boy is it hard to do something like that in a public place! I cut out all kinds of people jogging and walking by, with dogs, children, etc…
Also, the first time I recorded it (yeah, that’s right), I walked ALL THE WAY IN and submerged myself. The footage didn’t come through. I was PISSED. Also, I had some strange looks from the park personnel and the second time I went they were watching me from a patrol car, so I only waded to my thighs.
The crying in front of a camera felt a bit weird the times I was “busted” too.
It’s quite an exercise for your mind, doing stuff like that. At home, I can be as freaky as I want to be and no-one will know the difference outside of the YouTube community. I think I need to make more “public type” videos

Apparently my MySpace account was hacked. I’m not sure what this means as far as what’s been done before MySpace caught it, but the profile looks the same. I changed the password, as “abc123″ was apparently a bad choice.
Christopher
PS - If you REALLY think it was “abc123″ I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

I don’t know HOW they’re doing it, but now when my videos end, I’m noticing the “suggestive sell” videos that appear on the screen icons at the end tend to be my friends and subscribers! COOL! I’m seeing videos from the likes of SarryCrey, ItalianGuyFromNY, Bostorican1969, DunKology, MuggleSam, etc…
Good job, YouTube. Something you’re getting RIGHT!

I know what I’m doing on MY lunchbreak! I made a video this morning and started it uploading when I left for work. It was taking forever to upload, as happens sometimes with YouTube, and I see now that I’m at work and can’t do anything about it that it never went through. Just one of the many little hiccups we put up with in our video posting hobby.
The video is about MrSeanie’s suspension from YouTube, which I believe is total bullshit (as was the recent suspension of BoringDispatcher). Was MrSeanie offensive? Yes. Was MrSeanie always funny? No. Did MrSeanie push the boundries and make people think? Yes. Sound like anyone else we know? (cough-Renetto-coughcough)
Someone got “hurt” apparently and MrSeanie’s account got suspended.
The idea that anyone can be “hurt” by a video is really hard to grasp. Maybe some of the personal attacks can sting a bit, but we are all in control over our own responses to a video or comment. In the past, I’ve even made videos urging people to think before they post something offensive, but you know what?… I don’t think anyone’s right to post something offensive should be squashed (Renetto gets PAID to be offensive).
In the meanwhile, I found a comment on one of my older videos that just said “white power.” I clicked the username and found a video of someone in a clown - oops, I mean CLAN suit telling “nigger jokes.” HOW IS THIS still on YouTube? Hmm… Do I think it should be removed? Nah. Do I think it’s worth watching? No… it’s moronic.
Part of what makes us different is that some people are going to find us moronic or offensive. Sometimes we just ARE moronic and offensive. I STRIVE for it.

Well… after the third round on eBay, the ring sold for $611. The buyer was local, so we met at a BART station to do the exchange. Feeling bad for my situation, he was ULTRA COOL and gave me $800 (what he’d set as the max bid).
The buyer was a six-foot-plus, well-dressed and wel-groomed gay guy in a great suit. Out of curiousity, I asked if he was a jewelry shop owner or if the ring was meant as a gift. He said, “No, it’s for me. I want it as a pinky ring.” Then he tried it on and, what’d'ya know, it looked alright… hmm.
He then commented on the irony of the situation - my ex fiancée leaving for another woman and her engagement ring ending up on the pinky of a gay man - and I’m not sure if “irony” is really the exact word, but if it’s not, surely a new type of twisted humor has been invented here!
Cheers,
Christopher
